Brown mule called Day, one light bay mule Called Tobe, 1 Sorrel horse called
Bunk, 1 Black Horse Jim and 2 Gray mares 2 Bay Mares 1 Sorrel mare
and 1 cream mare, and 3 Colts. To Have and to Hold all and singular the
personal property above bargained and sold unto the said H.F. Dutton &Co
their heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever Provided
nevertheless that if the said E.C. & J.D. Stringfellow should well and truly
pay or cause to be paid unto the said H.F. Dutton & Co the full amount of
said notes together with the interest according to its tenor and effect
then this instrument to be void else to remain in full force and Virtue
and it is hereby further agreed that should it become necessary to
enforce this instrument by legal proceedings the said E.C. & J.D. Stringfell
ow will pay therefor all Attorneys fees Charges and expenses
