               State of Florida }
               Alachua County   } Know all men
by these presents that Whereas L.J. Lipsey of the
above State and County is indebted to S.M. Wood-
worth (merchant) of the town of Archer County of
Alachua and State of Florida in the Sum of
Sixty Dollars which the said Sum is Covenanted
to be paid by a Certain promissory note bearing
date the 4th day of October AD 1886 and due February
the 1st AD 1886. Now therefore to better Secure the
payment of said note as expressed therein I do
by these presents grant bargain sell and Convey
unto the said S.M. Woodworth Merchant the following
described property to wit: one Brown Horse. To have
and to hold the above described property above
bargained and sold unto the said S.M. Wood-
worth (merchant) and to his heirs executors adminis-
trators and assigns forever. Provided Nevertheless that
the said L.J. Lipsey Should well and truly pay
or Cause to be paid unto the said S.M. Woodworth
merchant the full amount of Said note accor
ding to its tenor and effect then this instrument
to be void else to remain in full force and virtue
and it is hereby further agreed that Should it
become necessary to enforce this instrument

For and in Consideration of full pay and 
Satisfaction of the within mortgage I do hereby
discharge the same from Record April 28th 1887
