              State of Florida } Know all men by these pres
              Alachua County   } ents That whereas Harington
M. Fleming of the above State and County is indebted to Michael Gold
of the same State and County in the sum of Two hundred dollars lawful 
money of the United States, which said Sum is expressed in one certain prom
issory note bearing date June 5th 1886 and for the Said Sum of two hundred
dollars and falling due on Sept 1st AD 1886 with interest at 8 per cent
Now therefore to better Secure said Michael Gold in full payment of Said 
Note and interest as Expressed I do by these presents grant bargain sell 
and Convey unto the Said Michael Gold his heirs and assigns all my 
right title interest and claim of in and to all the Crops of whatsoever spe
cies Kind or description now growing or which may hereafter be planted 
grown or gathered by me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any 
and all lands in Alachua County Florida. Also the following described prop
erty to wit: One Dark bay mare named Lily and also one light Wagon
To Have and to Hold All and Singular the Crops and personal prop
erty above bargained and sold unto the Said Michael Gold heirs 
Executors Administrators and assigns forever. Provided nevertheless 
that if the said Harington M. Fleming should well and truly pay or 
Cause to be paid unto the Said Michael Gold the full amount of said 
note together with the interest according to its tenor and effect then 
this instrument to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue
And it is hereby further agreed that should it become necessary to 
Enforce this instrument by legal proceedings the said Harington M.
Fleming will pay therefor all attorneys fees charges and expenses

this 5th day of June AD 1886
