        The execution of the foregoing release of Mortgage was this day proven
before me by the oath and examination of Wm W.N. Hunter one of the subscribing
witnesses thereto.

      State of Florida }
     County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that whereas
Mayfield & Sewell of above State and County are indebted to W.F. Harlow on
order of the State of Kentucky and County of Barren in the sum of one
hundred & Ninety dollars In lumber which said sum is expressed in one
certain promissory note bearing date with this mortgage and for the said
sum of one hundred and ninety dollars and falling due on the first day
of October AD 1886. Now therefore to better secure the said W.F. Harlow in
full payment of said note as expressed we do by these presents grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said W.F. Harlow his heirs and assigns
all my right title interest and claim of in Also the following described
property to wit: one Black mule about Seven years old name Bobe
known as the mule that H.C. Harlow bought of J. Carter one one horse
wagon & Harness To Have and to Hold all and singular the personal
property above bargained and sold unto the said W.F. Harlow his heirs
executors administrators and assigns forever Provided nevertheless that
if the said Mayfield & Sewell should well and truly pay or cause
to be paid unto the said W.F. Harlow the full amount of said note
together with the interest according to its tenor and effect then
this instrument to be void else to remain in full force and virtue
and it is hereby further agreed that should it become necessary to
enforce this instrument by legal proceedings the said Mayfield &
Sewell will pay therefor all attorney's fees charges and expenses
In Witness Whereof we hereunto set our hands and affix our seal
this twenty ninth day of June AD 1886
