The Brunswick Balke Calender Company } 

To all to whom these presents shall Come, Know ye that I, J. Simonson
of Gainesville Alachua County and State of Florida party of the first part
for Securing the payment of the money hereinafter mentioned in Consideration
of the sum of one dollar to me duly paid by The Brunswick Balke Calen
der Co of the City and County of New York and State of New York party
of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and Sold and
by these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the said party of the
second part Two Tables (One Six pocket pocket and Six pocket
Combination) Styles, Brilliant Novelty Sizes 4 x 8 with all appurten
ances and all other goods and Chattels mentioned in the Schedule here
unto annexed and now in the building occupied by him in Gainesville
Alachua County as aforesaid, To have and to Hold all and Sing
ular the goods and Chattels above bargained and Sold or intended
So to be unto the said party of the second part its successors and
assigns forever, And I the said party of the first part for my
Self and my heirs executors and Administrators all and Singular
of the said goods and chattels above bargained and sold unto the
said party of the second part its successors and assigns against
me the said party of the first part and against all and every
person or persons whomsoever Shall and will warrant and forever
defend. Upon Condition that if I the Said party of the first
part shall and do well and truly paid unto the said party of
the second part its successors and assigns the just and lawful Sum
of Four hundred and 00/100 dollars (with interest) on demand them
these presents shall be void, and for the better and mutual accomoda
tion of the said parties to this mortgage the said party of the second
part hereby Agrees to accept in liquidation of the above Sum of Four
hundred and 00/100 dollars the following notes made by the party of
the first part to wit: One note of Thirty four and 25/100 Dollars
($34 25/100) payable in one month from date and Eleven Notes of Thirty
three and 25/100 Dollars ($33 25/100) each and payable in two three four five Six
Seven Eight nine ten elven and twelve months from date and all bearing
even date herewith, And the said party of the first part hereby
further Covenants and agrees to and with the said party of the
Second part to Keep the said mortgaged property insured at his own
Expenses in an amount agreed to by the party of the Second
