his heirs Administrators or assigns the said several sums' of 70 46/100 and of 10 dollars above
mentioned as haveing been advanced by him to me one year from the date of this mortgage together
with interest thereon at the rate of 10 per cent per annum and until paid and shall further
pay or cause to be paid the said sums of money expressed in the two several promissory notes
given by me as aforesaid to Joanna Magee upon which the said Josiah T. Walls is endors-
er according to their tenor and effect then this obligation to be void: But if I shall
fail to pay or cause to be paid to the said Josiah T. Walls or to some one authorized to
receive the Same for him and in his stead the said several sums of 70 46/100 and of
$10\00 dollars above mentioned as being due and oweing from me to the said Josiah T.
Walls or should fail to pay or cause to be paid to Joanna Magee or to some one
authorized to receive the same for her the said several Sums of Two Hundred and
Five Hundred dollars respectively together with the interest therein as expressed
therein in the Two several notes of this date given to her the said Joanna Magee
by one and upon which the said Josiah T. Walls is endorser for me whereby he the
said Josiah T. Walls shall be made to pay the same to the said Joanna Magee by
reason of my failure neglect or refusal to pay the said Two notes according to their
tenor and effect, Then that the said Josiah T. Walls shall be entitled to and is
hereby empowered to foreclose upon this mortgage and Recover the said sums express
ed in said two promissory notes the amounts paid him on the same as endorser=
for one to be deemed due and payable to him at the time he shall have pain the
same for me to the said Joanna Magee, And I do further agree to pay him the
said Josiah T. Walls the interest accrued on said notes which he may called
on to pay the said Joanna Magee and also interest at the same rate on
said amounts as Expressed in said notes up until the time the said Walls
shall be paid and reimbursed by me or paid out of said lands if he shall be
forced to bring suit upon or foreclose this Mortgage to reimburse himself as
endorser for me on the said notes given to Joanna Magee as aforesaid.
And I do further agree to pay all costs and reasonable attorney's fees which
the said Josiah T. Walls may be called upon to pay in case he may be forced
to bring suit upon or foreclose this mortgage --- In Testimony whereof
we have hereunto Set our hands and seals this the 7th day of December

State of Florida } I, Charles O. Hampton a Notary Public in
Alachua County   } and for Said State and County do hereby Certify
that on this 7th day of December AD 1886 before me personally appeared
Vick Lang and Rosa his wife to me well known as the persons
described in and who executed the foregoing mortgage deed and
Severally acknowledged the execution thereof to be their free act and
deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said Rosa
Lang the wife of the said Vick Lang on an Examination taken
and made by me separately and apart from her said husband did
acknowledge before me that she made herself a party to the Said
