Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I 
A.J. Berg am justly indebted to Wm Thoman in the sum of
Two hundred and Seventy five Dollars the balance due for
purchase money on the property therein after described, which 
said money is promised to be paid by one Certain promissory 
Note bearing even date herewith due March 1st 1887 and given
at Gainesville Florida and payable to Wm Thoman or or order
value received, And Whereas I the said A.J. Berg am desirous
of Securing the payment of said note, Therefore Know ye that for
and in Consideration of the premises and the sum of one dollar
to me in hand paid by the said Wm Thoman I do hereby and
herin give grant sell and Convey unto the said Wm Thoman
and to his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns the
following described property in Alachua County State
of Florida Viz: One Flying Horse Machine with top and in
side Canvas, and all the lamps boxes and tools and every
thing Connected with said Machine Except the Organ, To 
Have and to Hold the same unto the said Wm Thoman and
to his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the said
A.J. Berg shall well and truly pay said promissory note
according to the legal tenor and Effect thereof then this
obligation shall become null and void otherwise to remain 
in full force and effect. And the said A.J. Berg agrees and
promises to pay all costs Expenses and attorneys fees which
the said Wm Thoman or his assigns may be put to in enfor=
cing the Collection of this Note and Mortgage by foreclosure
or otherwise   In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto
