H.C. Parker }
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents, that whereas Sharper
County of Alachua } Canty of above State and County is indebted to H.C. Parker
of the same State and County in the sum of Fifty one & 35/100 dollars lawful
money of the United States which said Sum is Expressed in one certain promissory
note bearing date December 30th 1886 and for the Said Sum of Fifty-one & 35/100
dollars and falling due on 1st day October AD 1887 with interest at one pr ยข
pr mo from date. Now therefore to better secure Said H.C. Parker in full pay-
ment of said note and interest as Expressed, I do by these presents grant bargain
Sell and Convey unto the said H.C. Parker his heirs and assigns all my right
title interest and claim of in and to all the Crops of whatsoever species
Kind or description now growing or which may hereafter be planted grown
or gathered by me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any and all
lands in Alachua County Florida. Also the following described property
to wit, one Bay mair (Horse) about Nine years old named Daisy
Also all other Property I now own or may own at any time in the future
To have and to Hold, all and Singular the crops and personal property
above bargained and sold unto the Said H.C. Parker his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns forever. Provided nevertheless that if the
Said Sharper Canty should well and truly pay or cause to be paid
unto the said H.C. Parker the full amount of said note together with the
interest according to its tenor and effect then this instrument to be
void, else to remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby further
agreed that should it become necessary to enforce this instrument by
legal Proceedings the said Sharper Canty will pay therefor all attor
neys fees Charges and Expenses. In Witness Whereof I hereunto set my
hand and affix my seal this 30th day of December AD 1886
