North half of the said lands above herein described retaining however
in full force and effect the lien of said Mortgage upon the South
half of said land above described as security for the payment of
the remaining unpaid note secured by said Mortgage. In Witness

      This Indenture made the - day of April in the year 1886
between Myron B. French of the first part and James C. Mayfield
of the second part. Whereas James C. Mayfield and Diva Mayfield
his wife by deed of Mortgage bearing date on the 6th day of February 1885
and recorded in the Clerks office of Alachua County Florida
Mortgage Book H page 245 and 246 for the consideration therein mentioned
and to secure the payment of the money specified did convey certain
lands of which the lands of which the lands hereafter described
are part unto Myron B. French aforesaid and whereas the said
party of the first part has agreed to give up and surrender the lands
hereafter described unto the said party of the second part
and to hold and retain the residue of the Mortgage lands
as security for the money due on the said Mortgage Now this
indenture witnesseth that the said party of the first part in pursuance
of the said agreement and in consideration of five dollars to him paid
