State of Florida } Know all men be these presents that where as
County of Alachua} Frank Boals of above State and County is indebted
to H.C. Parker of the same State and County in the sum of One Hund-
red & Nineteen & 71/100 dollars law ful money of the United States which
said sum is expressed in one certain promissory note bearing date
February 9th 1887 and for the said sum of one Hundred Nineteen &
71/100 dollars and falling due on first day November AD 1887 with in-
interest at 1 pr ¢ pr month from date. How therefore to better secure said
H.C. Parker in full payment of said note and interest as expressed
I do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
H.C. Parker his heirs and assigns all my right title interest and
claim of in and to all the crops of whatsoever specied kind or description
now growing or which may be here after be planted from or gathered
by me or for me or for any benefit on or off of any and all
lands in Alachua County Florida: Aldo the following described
property to wit, One Dark sorrel Horse about nine years old
named Jeff. Fourteen Head of Cattle marked crop and under bit
in one ear and swallow Fork in the other Brand F.B.
To have and to Hold all and singular the crops and personal property
above bargained and sold until the said H.C. Parker his heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns forever. Provided nevertheless that if
the said Frank Boals should well and truly pay or cause to be
paid unto the said H.C. Parker the full amount of said note to
gether with the interest according to its tenor and effect then this
instrument to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue
