State of Florida  } Know all men by these presents That I W.H. Phillips
County of Alachua } party of the first part in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and J.B. Harris party of the second part in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, Witnesseth that for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars 100 to him in hand
paid by the party of the second part hath by these presents bargained
sold and Conveyed unto the said party of the second part all the Crops
grown by me or on my farm in the year 1887 in the County and State
aforesaid to have and to hold the said Crop to him the said party of the
second part his heirs Executors administrators and assigns for
ever hereby warranting and defending the title to the same against
myself and all other persons whatsoever and waiving all claims
of homestead or other Exemtions to the same, and I further bind
my self to pay all cost and damages that may accrue to the Said
party of the second part by a failure on my part to deliver to him
a sufficient amount of said bargained crop to re emburse him for
the amount advanced and also for his Expence in recovering the
amount hereby mension
