Alachua County   } Said State and County do hereby certify that on
this Twenty third day of November A.D. 1886 before me personally appear
ed William L. Finger and Sue F. Finger his wife to me well Known
as the persons described in and who executed the foregoing Mortgage
Deed and severally acknowledged the Execution thereof to be their free
act and deed for the uses and purposes therein Mentioned and
the said Sue F. Finger the wife of the said William L. Finger on an
Examination taken and made separately and apart from her said
husband did acknowledge before me that she made herself a party
to the said conveyance for the purpose of releasing her right of dower
or other claims in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments therein
described and thereby granted and released and that such is her free
act and is made by her freely and voluntarily and without con
straint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

Alachua County   } Jacob Brown of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida, am justly indebted to Charles W. Bauk
night (merchant) of the town of Archer County of Alachua and
State of Florida, in the sum of Twenty Five Dollars ($2500
which said sum is advanced to me for the purpose of
Enabling me to plant and cultivate a general crop for
the year Eighteen Hundred and Eighty Seven, which said sum
I agree to pay to the said Charles W. Bauknight his heirs
Executors Administrators or assigns on the first day of
October AD One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Seven
and any further advances that may be made to me by the
Said Charles W. Bauknight, Now for the better security
of the payment of the said Twenty Five Dollars or any other
amount I may Contract I do by these presents bargain
sell Convey and deliver unto the said Charles W. Bauknight
all my right title interest or claim to all Crops of every Kind
and description planted or cultivated by me or for me or
for my benefit on or off of all lands in Alachua County
Florida for the year Eighteen hundred and Eighty seven also
I sell and deliver to the said Charles W. Bauknight one Bay
