State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into on this 18th
County of Alachua } day of February AD 1887, Witnesseth that Henry Parish
of the above State and County in consideration of the sum of Forty dollars already
advanced and now due to W.H. Pratt by the said Henry Parish the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the further consideration that the
said W.H. Pratt shall and will make such further advances in provisions
merchandise and supplies as may be necessary in the Judgement of Said
W.H. Pratt to enable said Henry Parrish to make harvest and prepare for
market his Crops of all kinds during the present Year AD 1887. Such
further advances not to exceed forty dollars, Now therefore to fully secure
said W.H. Pratt in the full payment of all amounts heretofore advanced
and that may be advanced in the future and for the further consideration
of one dollar to him in hand paid do by these presents grant bargain Sell
and convey unto the said W.H. Pratt and to his heirs and assigns all the
right title interest and Claim of the said Henry Parrish his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns of in and to all the Crops of Every Spe
cies and Kind now planted or to be planted or grown or gathered by
me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any and all lands in
Alachua County either during the Current Year 1887 or during
any and every subsequent year until the debt hereby secured is
fully paid together with all interest that has or may accrue as
well as all Expenses of every Kind that may attend the Collection of
Horse and Crop
the said debt: also the following described personal property to wit
one Brown Bay Horse also my entire Crop of the present year
To have and to Hold all and singular the above Crop and personal
property bargained and sold unto the said W.H. Pratt his heirs or
assigns forever. Providing nevertheless if the said Henry Parish Shall well
and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said W.H. Pratt the full
amount of account and advances heretofore made and that hereafter
may or shall be made by the said W.H. Pratt together with the Charges
for Commissions and interest on the same then this obligation to be
void else to remain in full force and virtue, And it is hereby fur
ther agreed that all accounts are due and payable on delivery of
the goods and that this instrument may be Enforced at any time
at the option of the said W.H. Pratt and it is further agreed
that should it become necessary to force this instrument
