This Indenture made and entered into on this 13 day of April AD 1887 between 
Wm H. Brown of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the first 
part and Wm of the County of Levy and State of Florida of the second 
part, Witnesseth, That whereas the party of the second part has agreed to 
advance to the party of the first part in goods wares merchandise and money 
not to exceed the sum of Thirty Five Dollars during the year 1887 at Such 
times as the party of the first part may need them to enable him to make 
gather and market his crops the present year. Now for the purpose of securing 
the party of the second part in payment of all such supplies as may be fur=
nished me in accordance with the above agreement^ and in Consideration of the
sum of One Dollar to me in hand paid. I have given granted bargained 
Sold and Conveyed and do hereby give grant Bargain sell convey and Confirm
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever the follow
ing described property to wit, All the crops of every Kind and description 
that I may grow or cause to be grown in Alachua County during the
Year 1887 and all future years until the above amount is paid in
fill. Also one Sorrel mare ten years old named Della. The above amount 
or so much thereof as may be advanced to become due and payable November
15th 1887. To have and to hold the same unto the said party of the sec-
ond part his heirs and assigns forever. Provided and these presents 
are upon this express condition that if the said party of the first part 
shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the party of the second 
part in full for all moneys or merchandise that may have been ad-
vanced by him during the current year then in that event these presents 
are to be null and void: otherwise to remain in full force and effect
I further agree to pay all Costs of Court and reasonable Attorneys 
fees in case the party of the second part may be put to the necessity 
of Collecting the same by the foreclosure of this Mortgage. In Testimony

State of Florida } On this day before me a Clerk of the Circuit Court
Levy County      } in and for said County in person came 
         to me well Known who acknowledged that he executed the 
foregoing Mortgage for the purposes therein Expressed whereupon it is prayed 
that the same may be Recorded. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto 
set my hand and official seal this the 13th day of April AD 1887
