the Said Arthur O. Steenburg his heirs or assigns forever Provided however and
these presents are upon this express condition that if the said Edward E.
Leybourn and Mary E. Leybourn or their heirs or assigns shall well and
truly pay or cause to be paid the said sum of money covenanted to be
paid by said note together with the interest to accrue thereon according to
the legal tenor and effect thereof then this obligation shall become null and
void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue And it is hereby further
agreed and stipulated that the said Edward E. Leybourn and Mary E. Leybourn
or their heirs or assigns will pay all costs Expenses and attorneys fees which the
said Arthur O. Steenburg may be put to in enforcing the Collection of the
aforesaid sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note by foreclosure or
otherwise. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our
Seals on this Thirty First day of July AD 1886

Alachua County   } I J.C. Gardner County Judge in and for said State
and County do hereby certify that on this 31st day of July AD 1886 before me
personally appeared Edward E. Leybourn and Mary E. Leybourn his wife to me
well known as the persons described in and who executed the foregoing
mortgage deed and Severally acknowledged the execution thereof to be
their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and
the said Mary E. Leybourn the wife of the said Edward E. Leybourn on
an examination taken and made separately and apart from her said
husband did acknowledge before me that she made herself a party to
the said conveyance for the purpose of relinquishing all her right and
title in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments therein described
and thereby granted and released and that such relinquishment is made
by her freely and voluntarily and without constraint and apprehension
or fear of or from her said husband
