Samuel W. Boynton }
              This Indenture made this First day of July AD 1886 between
Omera B. Thomas and Gabriel P. Thomas her husband of Alachua County Florida
parties of the first part and Samuel W. Boynton of the same place party
of the second part Witnesseth that whereas the said Omera B. Thomas and 
Gabriel P. Thomas are justly indebted to the said Samuel W. Boynton party of
the second part in the sum of Two Thousand and Two hundred and Fifty Dollars
($2250) lawful money of the United States of America as evidenced by a
certain promissory note of even date herewith as follows to wit;      
 $225000                         Gainesville Fla July 1st 1886
       Three years after date we or either of us promise to pay to Samuel
W. Boynton or order the sum of Two Thousand & Two Hundred & Fifty Dollars
($2250.00) for value received with interest from date at the rate of Ten percent
per annum payable Semi annually on 1st day of January & July of Each
year. After maturity then to bear interest at rate of Two percent per month

Being given for money loaned by the said Samuel W. Boynton to the
said Omera B. Thomas & G.P. Thomas for the purpose of improving
the property hereinafter described the same being the separate property
and Estate of the said Omera B. Thomas and and for her use and benefit Now
this Indenture witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for the
better securing the payment of the said sum of money mentioned in said
note and for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars to them in hand
paid by the said party of the second part at and before, the sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part
and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain lot tract piece or
parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida and known distinguished and described as follows to wit:
The North half of Lot number (2) two in Block number (2) Two in Range
number (3) Three according to the original plan or map of said Town

Being (30) Thirty feet North and South and^Two Hundred feet East and
West Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments

For and in consideration of the full payment of the sum of money secured to be
paid by this Mortgage I hereby cancel and discharge the same of record on
this the 10th day of January AD 1891
