                   ********************************

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN.

Realizing the condition of my health and that the time of my departure
cannot be long deferred, and being of sound mind and memory, I do herewith make
this, my last Will.
Ist. I desire to be interred at St. Augustine, according to the rites of
the Catholic Church, and to be laid to rest in the lot at San Lorenza Cemetery
with my people, with as little expense as possible.
2nd. It is my desire that when my beloved wife, Hattie L. Sanchez, shall
pass away that she be interred beside me in the lot at St. Augustine. (I have
made arrangements for this with the Bishop.)
3rd. I wish to make disposition of the little property which it has
pleased God to entrust to me, and I do transfer and hereby give, grant, devise
and bequeath to my beloved wife, Hattie L. Sanchez, a one-half interest of all
my property, real and personal, and to my beloved and very worthy niece, Mabel
Sanchez, a one-half interest of all my property, real and personal, wherever
located, in Alachua County or elsewhere, whether it stands in my name, in the
name of my wife, Hattie L. Sanchez, or Mable Sanchez, or as coming from the ex-
tate of James R. Sanchez, Margaret J. Sanchez or Mary A.R. Sanchez, deceased, and
to possess the same, and I give to them whatsoever books of account, accounts,
claims, notes, judgments or decrees, mortgages and all moneys which I may have
in any banks of the State of Florida, and all of my personal property of
whatever kind or character of which I may be entitled or die possessed.
4th. As a matter of extreme caution and believing that it will be best
for the two, I desire that my wife, Hattie L. Sanchez, and my niece, Mabel Sanchez,
continue to live together and share alike. There is enough property managed to
support the two. My advice is that all outlying property be sold whenever an
opportunity offers and in fact the town property, with the exception of the home
place and the store. I do not place any restriction upon the sale of the last
named properties, whenever in their joint judgment, a fair price is obtainable.
Better have the money paying interest that the property at the present high rate
of taxes. They should consult together at all times and do the best they can.
(I do not think they will need a lawyer, but it they do, have an understanding
with him as to fee he is to receive, before they employ him. If there is advice
needed I advise that they consult my friend W.R. McKinstry, in whom I have the
utmost confidence. His advice as to all matters (excepting law), will be good.
In the event of the death of wither Hattie L. Sanchez or Mabel Sanchez,
it is my desire that the whole of the property shall go to the survivor.
