                          Fall Term AD 1896.
                           Wednesday Dec 16.
         State of Florida }
              vs          } Grand Larceny
         W.F. Cox         }
                      And now this cause is nol prossed by the
         State prosecuting witness having left the county
         and cannot be found

         State of Florida }
Sentence        vs        } Sentence
         Barney Lenox     }
                            And now the prisoner being in open
         Court for sentence was demanded if he had anything to
         say why the sentence of the law should not be passed
         upon him saith nothing
            Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner in
         manner and form as follows: the sentence of the law
         is that you Barney Lenox be imprisoned by conf in
         the County Jail of Alachua County for six months at
         hard labor

         State of Florida }

         Wm G. Shehee     }
                         And now on this day this cause coming on to
         be heard Syd L. Carter State Attorney prosecuting in the name 
         and by authority of the State of Florida and the prisoner
         William G. Sheehe appearing in open Court in his
         proper person as well as by his attorney Evans
         Haile B.A. Thrasher and R.W. Davis Esquires was
         arraigned and pleaded not guilty
             Whereupon on motion of defendant this cause
         is continued to be tried at a special term if one
         is called

                   And now this day this cause came on to be heard
         S.L. Carter prosecuting State Attorney prosecuting in the name
         and by authority of the State of Florida and the prisoner being
         in open Court in his proper person as well as by his attorneys
         Evans Haile B.A. Thrasher and R.W. Davis was arraigned and
         pleaded not guilty Whereupon on motion of defendant
         this cause is continued to be tried at a Special Term if one
         is called
