Fifth Judicial Circuit }
Now coming on to be heard the application of
P.S. Awtrey for admission to practice law in the several
Courts of Florida and it appearing to the Hon W.A. Hocker
Judge of the above styled Circuit that the said P.S. Awtrey
is twenty one years of age and of a good moral character
shown by satisfactory evidence and that he was duly
admitted to practice law in the Superior Court of Georgia
for the Chattahoochee Circuit on the 12th day of September 1893
it being a Court of Record of Georgia the said Awtrey
having produced his said certificate of admission therein
Now therefore it is ordered that the said P.S. Awtrey be
permitted and authorized to practice law in the several
Courts of Florida and that this order be admitted on the
minutes of the Court.
In open Court Gainesville Florida this 16th day of December

Wm Bagaley } Motion to set aside Verdict & for New Trial
And now comes the defendant by his
Attorneys Evans Haile and S.Y. Finley and moves the Court
to set aside the verdict rendered herein and for a new trial
And now said motion having been submitted to the
Court and argument had thereon by both counsel
for plaintiff and defendant and the Court being
advised in the premises doth decide and order
that said motion be overruled To which ruling
and order of the Court the defendant by his attorneys
then and there excepted It is further ordered by
the Court that the defendant be allowed ninety
days to settle a bill of exceptions
