                 Spring Term AD 1897

State of Florida }
     vs          } Assault with intent to mur-
George Alderman  } der.
                And now this cause is nol-prossed by
the state the defendant having been convicted and punished
in the County Court for the same offense.

  It appearing to the Court, that it is necessary to have a
petit Jury for the second week of the Spring Term of our
Circuit Court AD 1897, the Judge of said court in open court
drew from the box containing the names of persons select-
ed by the County Commissioners to serve as Jurors for
the year of 1897, in the presence of the Clerk and sheriff,
the following named persons, to-wit: -
  Rufus Putman, R.S. Bradley, J.F. Perry, J.J. Par-
ish, J.M. Everett, J.D. Caldwell, Alex Avera, W.H. Turner,
F.J. Bates, C.J. Mixson, C.C. Morrison, H.R. Fewell,
and ordered the Clerk of this court to issue a venire for
the above named persons, returnable at 10 o'clock A.M
May 17-1897,
         Whereupon the Clerk issued the venire for
the above named persons, directed to the sheriff
of Alachua County as by the Court directed.

Whereupon Court adjourned until to-morrow morning at
Nine O'clock

               Friday May 14th 1897

  Court met pursuant to adjournment of yesterday his
