Walter Janes    }  Motion to Quash Indictment
                } And now comes the defendant in the
above state cause and moves the court to quash the in-
dictment herein and now said motion having been sub-
mitted to the Court, and argued by counsel for plaintiff
and defendant, and the court being advised in the
premises, doth decide and order that said motion be
and the same is hereby sustained

       vs              }  Murder of Ada Jenkins
Nias Drew & Floyd Evans}  Motion to Quash ^second count Indictment
                   And now comes Floyd Evans one of
the above defendants by his attorney, J.M. Rivers & Robt E. Davis
and moves the court to Quash the second count of the in-
dictment in this cause and now said motion having
been submitted to the court, and argument had thereon by
counsel for plaintiff and defendant and the court being
advised in the premises doth decide and order that said
motion be and the same is hereby overruled to which
ruling and order of the court, the defendant then and there
by his attorney, excepted.

                    And now comes Floyd Evans one of
the above defendants by his attorneys J.M. Rivers and Robt
E. Davis, and moves the court to quash the indictment
in this cause, and now said motion having been
submitted to the Court and the Court being advised
in the premises doth decide and order that said motion
be and the same is hereby over ruled to which ruling
and order of the court the defendant by his attorneys
then and there excepted.
