Whereupon the Clerk issued the venire facias as by order of the
Court directed.
  Whereupon Court adjourned until Tuesday morning next

                   Tuesday May 25th 1897,

The Court met pursuant to adjournment of Saturday last His
Honor W.A. Hocker, Judge, presiding.
  Now comes L.W. Fennell, Sheriff of Alachua County and
returns the regular venire, for the third week of this term
of our Circuit Court, as having been executed by summoning
the following named persons as Jurors to-wit: -
R.M. Jennings, W.S. Dorsey, William Sullivan, Frank Boals,
J.C. Baxley, G.L. Markey, D.A. Miller, S.L. Crews, J.H. Hines, W.D.
Futch, L.L. Knight, R.E. Johnson, in person,
  Whereupon the venire for the above jurors being called, all
were found to be present, and qualified to serve as jurors for
the third week of this term.
 And now again comes L.W. Fennell, Sheriff, and returns the
special Venire for the fifty persons summoned as jurors
to serve in the case of the state of Florida vs William
G. Shehee, charged with the murder of W.S. Hilliard, as having
been executed by summoning the following named persons
to-wit:

Clark, A.T. Durren, M.H. Slaughter, R.B. Hodgson, J.W. Carter,
B.O. Carn, T.W. Clark, F.D. Irvin, C.N. Merry, J.O. Trawbridge
in person, G.L. Denton, and J.F. Hunt Jr not to be
found in the county,
  Whereupon for good and sufficient cause shown
the court excused Geo R. Broome, Geo I. Doig, B.D.
Weeks, J.O. Trawbridge, T.K. Godby, E.W. Clark from
further attendance upon the Court,
