Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Florida held at St.
Augustine in the month of November 1848, one thousand eight
hundred and forty eight, among other things it was ordered
and decreed that for the purpose of partitioning among the claimants
the said tract of land known as the Arrendondo Grant, said
Grant should be sold at public auction in the month of
February 1849 by commissioners than and there appointed for the 
purpose, And whereas said sale did take place as decreed and the
said Estate of said N. Brush did purchase, and have apportioned
and set off to it among sections of said Grant, Section one, 
Township nine, Range twenty one.  Now Therefore
in consideration of the sum of seventy dollars, ($70) lawful
money, to us in hand paid by the said party of the second
part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said parties
of the first part have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed
and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto
the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns
forever, All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate
in the said tract of land known as the Arrendondo Grant, in
Alachua County, State of Florida, which is bounded and described
as follows.  Beginning at the South east corner of section or fraction-
-al Section one (1) Township nine (9) Range (21) twenty one
and running North to the North boundary of said Grant forty
two 58/100 chains (42 58/100) thence West twenty three 69/100 chains
(23 69/100) thence South forty two 58/100 (42 58/100) chains, and
thence East along the section line Twenty three 69/100 chains (23 69/100)
to the place of beginning, containing one hundred acres of the
same more or less.  Together with all and singular the
tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in any any wise appurtaining and all the right title
and interest of the heirs and executors of the said N. Brush 
descased to the same, To have and to hold all and singular
the above described premises with the appurtenances unto the
said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns foever, and
the said parties of the first part as Executors aforesaid will forever
Warrant and Defend the same to the said party of the second part,
and his heirs, against any person or persons lawfully claiming the
same in any part thereof.
     In Witness whereof the parties of the first part have
hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
