Sitting in St. Augustine, Commencing at a Point at
the North West Corner of what is known as Lot No Ten
of Said tract, at the South of what is known as "Cow Haven,,
in the Alachua Savanna and running South (Magnetic) in
the Chachala Pond Forty chains, Thence East (magnetic) One
hundred and forty four chains, & Sixteen links, thence
North (Magnetic) Forty chains to the center line running
East & West through the Said twenty thousand acre tract
Thence West along Said centre line, One hundred and
forty four chains and Sixteen links to the point of
beginning forming a parallelogram of one hundred
and forty four chains & Sixteen links East and West
(Magnetic) by Forty chains North & South (Magnetic) Containing
by Estimation Five hundred & Seventy Six Acres,
     To have and to hold Said above named and described
tract or parcel of land together with all and Singular
the rights members and appurtenances thereof unto the Same
in any manner belonging unto him the Said James T.
Thomas, his heirs and assigns in fee Simple forever,
     And the Said Moses E. Levy for himself his heirs
Executors or administrators the Said bargained premises
unto the Said James T. Thomas his heirs and assigns
will warrant and forever defend against the claim
or claims of all person or persons whatever, And Whereas
One moity of the Said above named and described tract
of Land has been Conveyed by Certain articles of deed
or mortgage to Serafina Cheveteau of Paris France and
Joseph DeLevante of London England and whereas the
Said Parties have Constituted and appointed Moses E. Levy
aforesaid their attorney, in fact by the Execution of a
Certain Power of Attorney duly recorded in the Clerks
Office of Alachua County, Now the Said Serafina
Cheveteau and the Said Joseph DeLevante by Moses
E. Levy then Attorney as aforesaid doth hereby transfer
assign & set over all the rights title and claim
of them, the Said Serafina Cheaveteau and the
Said Joseph DeLevante in and to the Said
tract or parcel of Land Unto the Said Joseph
T. Thomas his heirs and assigns forever,
