in consideration of the said sum of sixty-four dollars and
thirty-two cents to me in hand paid by the said George L. Brown
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto the
said George L Brown the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted barg and to his heirs and assigns forever all
that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida herinbefore described
and set fourth to have and to hold the said lands and
premises and every part thereof unto the said George L Brown
his heirs and assigns forever as fully and absolutely as I the
said Thomas C. Ellis Sheriff and Ex officio Tax Collector
aforesaid under the authority aforesaid and covenanting that
I have pursued all the requirements of law herein might
could or ought to sell and convey to same subject only
to the right of redemption provided by law
