of us respectivly from the avails of such sales and to execute the
necessary receipts & acquittances for the same for us and in our names
and stead, and the said Hephzebah do also make constitute and
appoint said Myers my attorney with like power and for similar
purposes to act for me in reference to other portions of said
lands claimed by William Bloodgood and Thomas Fleston but
in which I have a large interest under a degree of the Supreme
Court in equity in the State and which interest it is my desire 
and I hereby fully empower my said attorney to protect in any way
he may deem most expedient for the authority of the said
voice in the behalf he rufuses to a certificate of his letters of guardean
ship annexed to the amswer of said infants to the bill filed
for the partition of said land in Florida and which answer
in on file in said cause said letters bearing date the ninth
day of January 1845. All of the said infants being still minors
excepting the said Mary C. Taylor who has since attained the
age of twenty one years and who joins in the power in her own
behalf and in case he shall purchase any lands for us or either
of us to lease sell and dispose of or contract for the leasing
sale and dispostion of the said lands or any portion
thereof for such consideration and upon such terms of payment
which he may deem sufficient and right and for our interest
and in pursuance of such contract of sale and for the purpose
of consumting the same we do hereby authorize and empower
him to make execute acknowledge and deliver all prop-
er and necessary papers deeds and conveyances in the law
that may be required to perfect a full and ample conveyance
by deed or in case he may deem it more expedienct to execute
contracts for deeds for all our rights title and interest in or
to the lands before mentioned. And we do also herely authorize
and empower our said attorney as aforesaid to ask demand
sue for recove  and receive all moneys that may become due from
any person or persons from or on account of said lands or any por-
tion thereof and to make and deliver good and valid
receipts acquittances and discharge thereon and also in our
name or othewide as the said attorney shall find or deem
requisite and proper to take and adopt in any court or
courts or before any magestrate judge or licensee of the
United States or of any State or County thereof all
such legal measures and proceedings as he may
think requisite in order to preserve protect and
defend our title interest and possession in the
said lands or any portion thereof and to remove
