before me and being by me duly sworn deposed  says that he resides
in the City of New York, that he saw Hephzibah E. Taylor
& Mary C. Taylor severally execute the within and foregoing
power of attorney that he the said William H. Taylor duly subscribed
his name thereto as attorney and that he knew the said Hephzibah E.
Taylor and Mary E. Taylor to ghe the persons described in and
who executed the said Power of Attorney which is to me satisfactory
proof of the due execution thereof.
     In testimony whereof I hereby hereunto suscribe my name
      & affix my seal of office this seventh day of February 1849

To all to whom these shall come Theodore Bailey Myers of
the city of New york sendeth greeting: Whereas Hephzibah
E. Taylor widow of William Taylor and Mary C. Taylor and
Erastus V. Joice guardian of the person and estates of William
H. Taylor, Thomas G. Taylor and Emma E. Taylor, children of said
Hephzebah by this letter of attorney hereto annexed did cons-
titute their attorney for the purposes and with the powers in
the same letter of attorney at large contined, know yet that the
said T. Baily Myers by virtue hereof and by the powers of sub-
stitution in said letter of attorney appertaining have substituted
and delegated and do substitute and delegate George R.
Fairbanks Esq. of St. Augustine in the State of Florida councilor
at law to be the lawful and sufficient attorney of the said
Hephzebah E. Taylor, Mary C. Taylor and Erastus V. Joice as
said guardian with all and every power and authority
of acting in the name stead and to the use of the said Hephzebiah
E. Taylor, Mary C. Taylor and Erastus V. Joice as such guardians
grants to me by the said letter which I can lawfully excerise
delegate hereby notifying and confirming whatsoever the
said George A. Fairbanks shall lawfully do in the name
of the said Hephzibah E. Taylor, Mary C. Taylor and Erastus
V. Joice as such guardian or in my name as attorney
to Hephzibah, Mary C. and Erastus V. to the use of said
Hephzibah and Mary C. and Erastus V. by virture of their
presents and the power of substitution in said letter contined
in witness whereof I have nereunto set my and and seal at
the City of New York this sixteenth day of October A. D. 1849
