                          To Wit be it remembered that on this
Seventh day of April A.D. 1849 before the Subscriber a commissioner
of deeds duly commissioned and Sworn and appointed by the Gov.
of Florida a commissioner in and for the State of New York
to take the proof and acknowledgement of deeds &c. to be
and recorded in Florida personally appeared William W.
Wells Fredrick Ryer and Cynthia W. his Wife to personally 
Known to be the individual described in who executed
the within conveyance and severally acknowledged that
to me that they had executed the same and the said
Cynthia on a private examination seperate and apart from
her Said Husband and from all other persons acknowledged
to me that She had executed the Said Conveyance freely
without any fears or compulsion on the part of her said
Husband
     Witness my hand and seal on this day and in the

     This indenture made the Sixteenth day of April 1849
between Peter J. Nevins assignee of the Estate of Geromas H.
Johnson of the first and Daniel Henry Hought of
the Second part Witnesseth that the Said party of the 
first for and in Consideration of Two Hundred Dollars
to him in hand paid by the party of Second part hath
remised released and quit Claimed and by these
presents doth remise release and quit Claim unto the
party of Second part his heirs and assigns
forever All the rights Title and interest of the Said
party of the first part of in and to the Lands
and premises described in the annexed deed
being part of the
