To Wit Be it remembered that
On this Seventh day of April A.D. 1849 before the Subscriber
a commissioner duly appointed and commissioned by the
Gov. of Florida in and for the State of New York to take
the proof and acknowledgement of deed to be used and
recorded in Florida and duly Sworn personally appeared John
S. Lawrence Esqr. to me personally Known who being by me
first duly Sworn sayeth that he resides in the City of New
York & that he Knows Petter J. Nevins the individual described
in and who executed the foregoing Instrument that
Said Nevins executed the same in his presents
and that he Set his name as a subscribing witness
thereto which is to me satisfactory evidence of the
due execution of Said instrument
