James A. Peden one of the subscribing
witnesses to the foregoing deed of trust appeared before
me and after being sworn according to law
says on his oath that he saw Bennett M. Dell
& Saml. R. Piles executors of James Dell deceased
and A.L.Piles by Saml R. Piles her husband, MM Dell,
James G. Dell, & Sam R. Piles, guardian of infant
heirs of William T. Dell deceased sign and execute
the same for the purposes therein stated and that
he signed the same as subscribing witness.
