on parcels of land hereditaments with the appentenances so mentioned
and described and bargained sold and assigned to her the said
Seraphina Chauviteau and by the said person before in part
receipted indenture as aforesaid, and for the recovery and receiving
the said sum of Fifty Thousand francs and the interest
and to accrue due thereon, and every or anypart thereof,
so due and owing to her from and by the said Moses Elias
Levy as aforesaid and for all or any other purposes or purposes
whatsoever mentioned in these presents as fully and affect-
ually to all intents and purposes, whatsoever as if she the said
Saraphina Chamveteau was personally present and acutally
doing the same and for all or any of the purposes aforesaid
she the said Seraphina Chauveteau, doth hereby impower
and authorize the said William Washington Russell her said
attorney from time to time and at all times when he shall
think expedient to substitute depute  or appoint any other
person or persons to be and attorney or attorneys agent or agents
under him the said William Washington Russell and at pleasure
to revoke any said substitution, deputation, or appoint
ment the said Seraphina Chauviteau hereby giveing the said
William Washington Russell as her said attorney with his substi
tutes deputies or agents, and each and every of them full
and whole power and authority into upon and ever the premisis
aforesaid and every of them respectively and hereby also conf
irmimg ratifying and allowing and agreeing to confirm
ratify and allow all the whatsoever the said William Washington Russell
or his subtitutes deputues agents and each and every of them shall
lawfully do or cause to be done on the premises by virtue of these presents
In witness whereof the said Seraphina Chauveteau hath herewith
set her hand and seat at Paris aforesaid the tenth day of
January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty
nine.
