    Francis A. Pardee to the "Florida Southern Railway Company"
                         "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that I Francis A.
Alachua County   } Pardee of the aforesaid County and State for and in
consideration of the sum of Seventy five ($75.00) Dollars to me cash in
hand on this day paid by the corporation of the State of Florida
Known and doing business by and under the corporate name of the
"Florida Southern Railway Company" the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and 
by these presents do grant bargain sell alien and convey unto the said 
corporation the said Florida Southern Railway Company that certain
strip or parallelogram of land in over and across the North East
quarter of Section Twenty nine (29) in Township Nine (9) South of Range
Twenty (20) East in Alachua County State of Florida due North of
the  Town of Gainesville where the Railway track and Railway road
-bed of the Florida Southern Railway is now located and graded and
established upon our and across said tract of land above described
Said Strip or parallelogram of land hereby sold and conveyed being such
