foregoing deed of conveyance for the use and purpose therein contained and

   E.C. Bailey To Jessie Ann Johnson
                   "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made the 23rd day of June AD 1882
- county         } Between E.C. Bailey (Bachelor) of the State and County of
the first part and Jessie Ann Johnson of Alachua County in the State
of Florida of the second part Witnesseth: That the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Ninety Eighty dollars to him
in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the 
second part all of that certain lot piece parcel or tract of land situated lying
and being in the county of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly 
known and described as follows to wit: at the point where the Western
boundary line of Section Twenty nine (29) in Township nine (9) South Range
Twenty (20) East crosses the run of Hogtown Creek and running thence
south along said Section line Four chains and fifty (50) links Thence East
Fifteen chains (1500) Thence North fifteen (15°) degrees West Fourteen chains
and Sixty nine (14 69/100) links to the run of Hogtown Creek Thence down the
run of said creek in a south westerly direction to the point of beginning
containing by estimation Twelve & a quarter (12 1/4 ) acres of land more or less. Together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the
same belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and to Hold the same 
unto her the said party of the second part and to her heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple and absolute and I the said party of the
first part do hereby covenant and agree to and within the said party of the second
part that he is lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that he has good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that
the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that
he will and his heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever 
warrant and defend the same unto the said party of the second part and to
her heirs executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
