said County do hereby certify that George K. Broome and Mrs
Eliza Broome both to me personally known appeared before me and
acknowledged to me that they executed the foregoing deed to Calvin
Gillis for the purposes therein stated and I further certify that
the said Mrs Eliza Broome acknowledged to me after having been
first examined by me privately and separately & apart from her said
husband that she renounced and relinquished all her right & title
to Dower in the premises conveyed in said deed freely and voluntarily
& without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband

                   "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this August 4th
Alachua County   } AD 1882 between J.H. Hagood of the first part and
G.J. Hagood part of the second part Witnesseth that the said party
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred
(600) Dollars to him paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents grant
bargain sell and convey to the party of the second part his heirs
and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
situated in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida and
Known and described as follows to wit commencing forty (40) chains
North of the SE corner of sec (36) township (11) eleven Range (20)
run thence North (18.40) eighteen chains and forty links thence
West (6.25) Six chains and twenty five links thence North (22.60)
twenty two chains and Sixty links to Sec line thence West (73.75)
Seventy three chains and Seventy five links thence South (40) forty
chains thence east (80) eighty chains to point of beginning containing
(311) three hundred and eleven acres more or less also commences at
the SW corner of sec (31) thirty one township (11) eleven range
