and twenty links to stake thence North (15.40) fifteen chains and forty
links to a Magnolia Tree thence West (5.20) five chains and twenty links
to stake on Section line thence South to the public road the point
of beginning containing (8) eight acres more or less. To Have & To hold
to the said party of the second part his heirs or assigns with all the
rights and privilege thereto in any wise appertaining or belonging in
witness whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal this the day and year before written and
the said party of the first part to the said party of the second part
shall give the title to the premises herein conveyed to to the party
of the second part his heirs and assignees warrant and defend by

State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this May 22nd
Alachua County   } AD 1882 between J.H. Hagood of the first part and
Lucie D. Hagood party of the second part witnesseth that the party of
the first part for and in considering of the sum of five hundred
dollars to him paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents grant bargain
sell and convey to the party of the second part her heirs and assignees all
that certain tract or parcel of land lying and situated in the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida and known and described as follows to wit:
