Olivia A. Porter To Ruth Scarrett
                    "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Olivia A. Porter
Alachua County   } and Watson Porter her husband who joins his said wife
for the purpose of ratifying her acts herein of Alachua County Florida for and
in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to us cash in hand on
this day paid by Ruth Scarrett of said County and State the receipt whereof
we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto her the said Ruth
Scarrett all that certain piece or parcel of land Situated lying and being
in the Town of Gainesville County and State aforesaid the same being a
part of Block four (4) Range four (4) and particularly described as follows
to wit: Beginning at a Stake at the South East corner of said Block thence
from said stake west forth five and one half feet to a stake thence North
fifty feet to a stake thence West twenty five feet to a stake thence
North fifty feet to a stake thence East Seventy and one half feet to
a stake thence South one hundred feet to the place of beginning
containing five thousand eight hundred (5800) square feet more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have and to hold
the same unto her the said Ruth Scarrett and to her heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever. And we do hereby
further covenant and agree to and with the said Ruth Scarrett that we are
lawfully seized in fee of the property hereby conveyed and that we
have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same that the said
premises are free from all encumbrances and that we will and our
executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend
the same to her the said Ruth Scarrett and to her heirs and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever - In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and 
affixed our seals this 16th day of June AD 1881

Alachua County   } Before me personally appeared Olivia A. Porter wife of
Watson Porter who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges before me
that she signed sealed Executed and delivered the foregoing deed
of her separate property property freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

made taken and subscribed to before me by Olivia A. Porter on a separate
examination made by me while she was apart from her said husband
