hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and To Hold the same unto him the said George M. Odom and 
to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolutely
forever = And we the said George M. Hoffman and Abby H. Hoffman his
wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said George M.
Odom that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein
and hereby conveyed; that the same is free and clear of all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our and each of our 
heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant
and defend the same unto him the said George M. Odom and to
his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demands
of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to
claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and affixed hereto our seals on this day of 15th August AD 1882

Alachua County   } foregoing State and County do hereby certify that on
this 15th day of August AD 1882 before me in person appeared Mrs Abby
H. Hoffman wife of George M. Hoffman to me personally known
who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate and
apart from her said husband did say and acknowledge before me upon
such separate and private examination that she did join in and
executed the foregoing deed of conveyance for the purpose of
releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right and claim to Dower
in and to the land in said deed described; and that said release
relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by
her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband         Abby
