Arch Hague and Wife to Adam D. Wheelock
                    "Deed"
This Indenture made this 2nd day of August AD 1880 between Arch Hague and
his wife Martha Hague (who joins in this deed for the purpose of relinquishing
her Dower in and to the property herein conveyed) both of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida parties of the first part and Adam D. Wheelock of the
City of Brooklyn King County State of New York party of the second part
Witnesseth That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($20000) to them cash in hand paid the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and
conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain Lot tract
or parcel of land situate lying & being in the Town of Newnansville
in said County of Alachua and State of Florida and known and distinguished
in the plan of said Town of Newnansville as lot No (5) five and the South half
of Lot No (4) four in Block 3 Three in Range (1) one Together with all and
singular the rights tenements and hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining. To Have and to Hold the above described premises unto 
the said party of the second part his heirs executors administrators and
assigns and to his and their own use benefit and behoof forever in
fee simple absolute And the said parties of the first part for themselves
their heirs executors administrators and assigns shall and will warrant
and forever defend the title to said property to the said party of the second
part against the claim or claims of any and all persons whomsoever
claiming by through or under them or either of them In Witness Whereof
the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals
the day aforesaid

Alachua County   } Hague to me well known who acknowledged that they and
each of them executed the above Deed in the manner & for the purposes
therein expressed

Alachua County   } Be it remembered that on this day came before me a
Justice of the Peace in & for said County Martha Hague wife of Arch
Hague who upon an examination by me held separate and apart from
her Husband acknowledged that she did sign seal and deliver the
above & foregoing Deed for the purposes therein expressed & that the
same was done freely voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her husband
