and delivered the foregoing deed of conveyance for the uses and purposes therein contained
and expressed

       Wallace W. Sykes To B.F. Rucker
                      "Deed"
State of Florida } This indenture made this third day of March in the year of our
Alachua County   } Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty two between Wallace
W. Sykes of the County of Alachua and State of Florida of the first part and B.F. Rucker
of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars lawful money
of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and 
sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the party of
the second part heirs and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State aforesaid and more
particularly known on the plat of the United States Surveys as the NW1/4 of
SE1/4 of Sec 29 and N1/2 of SW1/4 Sec 29 & SW1/4 of SW1/4 Sec 29 & NW1/4 of
NW1/4 Sec 32 & SW1/4 of NW1/4 Sec 32 in Township Nine Range fourteen East
containing Two hundred and forty acres more or less. To have and to hold
the same unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever and the party of the first does covenant and agree with the party of
the second part that he has good right to sell and convey the same that
said premises are free from all encumbrances and that the party of the 
first part will warrant and forever defend the same to the party of
the second part his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of all persons whomsoever claiming. In Testimony whereof the party
of the first part hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first
above written
