same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have and to hold the same unto
the said Calvin Gills and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple absolute and the said Thomas L. Carter does hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said Gillis his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed; and that we have good
and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all
encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that he will and his heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the
same unto the said Gillis and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness whereof

Dower in and to the land in said deed described and that said relinquis=
hment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband
