presents made and executed by me separate and apart from my said husband
and in presence of W.F. Forshee Probate Judge of Chatham County State of North
Carolina acknowledge and declare that I did make myself a party to and 
executed the foregoing Deed of conveyance for the purpose of conveying and
releasing all my right in and to the lands in said conveyance therein described
and granted and that I did the same freely and voluntarily and without any
compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from my said husband

the above named Eliza C. Snowden to me well known as the wife of Peter
G. Snowden and as one of the Persons described in and who executed the
foregoing Deed of conveyance who being at the time separate and apart
from her husband the said Eliza C. Snowden did then and there make
and execute the foregoing acknowledgment her name being with her own
hand subscribed and her seal affixed in my presence.

This Indenture made the thirty first day of December in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty two between George M. Payne, George R. Fairbanks
and William A. Forward commis appointed by the Circuit Court of the Eastern Circuit
of Florida sitting as a Court of Chancery by orders or decrees made and entered at the
city of St Augustine in said County of St Johns in a certain caause in
partition depending in said Court wherein John H. Brush and others are
complainants and Moses E. Levy and others are Defendants of the first
