and J. Lorenzo Lyons do hereby Covenant
and agree to and with the said Mary
C. Jaquillard that we are lawfully seized
in fee simple of the property herein and
hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same,
That the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever, and that we will
warrant and defend and our heirs and exec-
utors and administrators and assigns Shall
and will forever warrant and defend the same
unto her, the said Mary C. Jaquillard and to
her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of
any and all persons whomsoever now
claiming, or hereafter to claim the same,
In witness whereof we James Mitchell and
J. Lorenzo Lyons, with Josie M. Mitchell wife
of the said James Mitchell and Catharine
N. Lyons, wife of the said J. Lorenzo Lyons,
who hereby freely and voluntarily release,
relinquish and renounce all their right of
dower in and to the land in the foregoing
described, have hereunto set our hands and
affixed our seals this 17th day of June AD 1885

appeared Mrs Josie M. Mitchell wife of James
Mitchell grantor in the foregoing conveyance
who being first duly questioned and examined
                               said
by me Separate and apart from her^husband
says and acknowledges before me that She did
sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose
of releasing, relinquishing, and renouncing all
her right of dower in and to the land in said
deed described, and that said release, relinquish-
ment and renunciation of dower was done
