The State of Florida }
Alachua County       }     Know all men by these Presents:
      That We Rebecca P. Goss and Jesse H. Goss her husband
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred
Dollars to us in hand paid by the Evergreen Cemetery Association
at the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have granted, 
bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto it unto him the said Evergreen Cemetery Association
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly 
known and described as follows, to wit:
Begin at the North Est corner of Section Sixteen (16) in Township Ten (10) South of Range Twenty (20) East and run West along the North boundary line of said Section Sixteen (16) Twenty one hundred and ninety Eight (2198)
feet to a stake which is the point of beginning, thence run south Four hundred and ninety sic (496) feet to a stake, Thence West Ten hundred and forty two and one half (1042 1/2) feet to a stake Thence North Twelve hundred and fifty one (1251) feet to a stake Thence East Ten hundred and forty two and one half (1042 1/2) feet to a stake thence south Seven hundred and fifty five (755) feet to the place of beginning containing Thirty (30) acres of land more or lass, Also all the interest of the grantors herein in the
following described property to wit, Beginning at the South West Corner of the above described land run thence South Four hundred and nineteen (419) feet Thence East Three hundred and seventy two (372) feet Thence North Four hundred and Sixteen (416) feet, Thence west Three hundred and seventy two (372) feet to the point of beginning being the land Known as the old Cemetery containing Four (4) acres of land more or less, also a right of way forty (40) feet wide through the lands of the grantors herein in Section Nine (9) contigous to the North side of the first above granted lands And the grantors herein reserve for a public highway a strip of land forty (40) feet wide off from the North East corner of the land first above described and between said land and the right of way of the Florida Southern Railway Company

containing by estimation  acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appertenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
             To Have and to Hold the same unto it the said Evergreen Cemetery Association
and to its Successors heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And we the said Rebecca P. Goss and Jesse H. Goss
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Evergreen Cemetery Association
that we have lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that we have good 
and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumberances of any kind whatsoever, and that we 
will and our heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto it the said
Evergreen Cemetery Association
and to its Successors heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons 
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.
          In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and our seals on this Eighteenth day of April A.D. 1888

Alachua County       }   I Hereby Certify that on the                       Eighteenth             day of                     April A.D. 1888
                       me personally appeared Mrs.                 Rebecca P. Goss
wife of Jesse H. Goss the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly qusetioned and examined by me, separate 
and apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose 
of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said deed described, and that the said 
Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, 
apprehension or fear of or from her husband.
