W.M. Rumery
adopted son Edward M. Rumery of Newton, aforesaid,
the real Estate situated on the Northerly side of Cortes
Street, in Boston in the County of Suffolk and Com-
monwealth aforesaid with the brick building thereon
now used and occupied as an apartment hotel and
known as the Hotel Effingham said real estate was
Conveyed to me by deed of Joseph Q. Brown and
others by deed dated the second day of October AD
Eighteen Hundred and seventy six and is recor-
ded with Suffolk deeds Lib 1351 fol 163. I also
hereby give devise and bequeath to my adopted
said son Edward M. Rumery a promissory note dated Hil-
liard Wyoming Territory November 27th 1883, for
the sum of three thousand and three 43/100
dollars, payable three months from said date with
interest thereon at the rate of ten per cent per
annum and signed by the Utah Wyoming Im-
provement Company.- The payment of said note is
secured by a trust deed of the "Carlton Core Land"
so called situated near Said Hilliard to me the
said William M. Rumery and Ivory Beau Trus-
tees from the said Utah Wyoming Improvement
Company - to have and to hold the said real
Estate and promisory note, with the amount
of interest due and uncollected thereon at
the date of my decease to him the said Edward
M. Rumery, his heirs administrators and assigns
forever.
Third I hereby give devise and bequeath to my
Niece Clara A. Moulton wife of William Moulton
now of North Hamilton in the County of Rock-
ingham and State of New Hampshire, the sum
of six thousand dollars to be be paid when
Collected from the amount of twenty thou
sand dollars insurance on my life
according to policy No 63, 128 issued
by the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance
Company of Newark in the State of New
Jersey" To Have and to hold the said sum
of six thousand dollars to her the said
Clara A. Moulton her heirs, Adminis
trators and assigns for ever, In the
Event, from whatever cause of the amou
