                           In the matter of the Estate
of James Knight - Dec'd
                     To Hon Z.T. Taylor County Judge
of Alachua County Florida - Your petitioner H.M. Con-
nelly would respectfully show unto your honor that
James Knight late of said County departed this
life during the year 1890 leaving real estate to the
amount of forty acres of land situated in this
County of the value of about four hundred dollars
  That said James Knight was at the time of his
death indebted to Mrs Francis Connelly wife of your
petitioner for care and attention &c given by her to the
said Knight in his lifetime That more than sixty
days have elapsed since the death of said James
Knight and no one has yet qualified as
administrator of his Estate Your petitioner would
therefore pray that A.U. Hilliary Sheriff of Alachua
County be appointed Ex Officio Administor of said
estate of said James Knight and be required to
make proper settlement of same    his

above and forgoing petition it is hereby ordered
that A.U. Hilleary Sheriff be and He  is hereby ord

Judge in and for said County personally appear-
ed A.U. Hilleary who being duly sworn says that
James Knight late of said County of Alachua and
State of Florida died on the___day of___AD 1890
leaving heirs and legal representatives surviving to wit
seven Children of Jno Knight (-a son now deceased)
