death did belong, and to ask demand sue and
recover and recieve the same and to pay the debts in
which the deceased stood bound in so far as his assets
will extend according to Law - and then the ballance to
pay over to the legal heirs and distributees of the decea-
-sed. And the said A.U. Hilleary having given bond
and security and taken the oath and performed all
other acts required by law necessary to his just qualifia-
-tions as Administrator Ex officio is by order of this Court
and by virtue of their presents ordained constituted
and appointed Administrator Ex Officio of all the goods
chattels and  credits of said James Knight deceased

James Knight deceased      }
                       To Hon Z.T. Taylor County Judge of
Alachua County Florida
                       Your petitioner A.U. Hilleary
Sheriff of Alachua County Florida and Ex Officio adminis-
trator of the Estate of James Knight dec'd would respect-
fully show unto your honor that after an examination of
the Estate of said Jas Knight dec'd he can find no prop-
erty belonging to said Estate except the following real
estate situated lying and being in Alachua County
Florida -to wit- The South East quarter of North East
quarter of section Thirty Township seven south of Range
Sixteen-East containing about forty acres more or
less that there are bills against the said Estate in
favor of one Frances Connelly for the sum of Three-
hundred and fifty dollars - That there is no other
assets of said Estate with which to pay said in-
debtedness excepting said above described Real Estate
    Your petitioner would therefore pray that a
Commissioner be appointed to sell said Real Estate
at public or private sale for the purpose of paying
the debts of said Estate == A.U. Hilleary Sheriff
