Six thousand dollars of my estate be held in trust
by my Executors hereinafter named to be loaned on good
securities and the interest arising from the same to be
paid over annually to my adopted daughter "Katie Roe"
for and during her natural life and at her death to
pay over said principal sum of six thousand dollars to
my said sisters Joanna and Caroline or in case of
their death to their heirs, share and share alike
Tenth:   I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife
       Elizabeth Roe the use and income of all my real
estate in the town of Chester, also the interest or income
of all my personal property not heretofore bequeathed during
her natural life only and at her decease I give and
bequeath the real estate above named unto my nephew
William Hoyt and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns, forever
              All my personal Estate left to my wife
Elizabeth Roe during her natural life, at her decease I
give and bequeath unto my nephews Edward C. Hoyt
Jerome H. Smith Frank H. Smith, and my niece Mary
A. Hoyt Share and share alike
Twelvth:  The legacies given to my beloved wife during
           her natural life I hereby declare is intended to
be and is so given to her in full satisfaction and recom-
pense of and for her dower and thirds which she may
and can in anywise claim or demand out of my
Estate.
      I hereby order and direct my Executors to authorize
my nephew William H. Hoyt to purchase a monument
and erect it in my lot in the Chester Cemetery the Cost
of said Monument not to exceed one thousand dollars and
when done, to pay said William H. Hoyt the cost of Mon-
ument and two hundred dollars addition for his service in
the matter
      I order and direct my Executors pay the legacies
as fast as the money is paid in or collected
    To do so the first mentioned to be paid first
And lastly
            I do hereby constitute and appoint my trusty
friends Charles P. Smith and William A. Lawrence
Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby
revoking all former Wills by me made
