any way concerning his Will is granted unto Charles P. Smith
and William A. Lawrence the Executors in the said Will recorded
they being first duly sworn faithfully and honestly to discharge
the duties of such Executors

{In the matter of the Judicial settlement, final accounting of }
{Charles P. Smith and William A. Lawrence as Executors of the }
{last Will and Testament of Daniel H. Roe deceased }
Charles P. Smith and William A. Lawrence Executors of
the last Will and Testament of David H. Roe late of the town
of Chester in the County of Orange, deceased, having here-
tofore made application to the Surrogate of the County of
Orange for a final and Judicial settlement of their account
as such Executors and a Citation having been thereupon
issued pursuant to Statute directed to all persons interested
in the Estate of said deceased citing these and each of them
personally to be and appear before the said Surrogate at
his office in the Village of Goshen NY in said County
on the 28" day of August 1882 at ten oclock in the
forenoon of that day then and there to attend such
final settlement, and the Citation having been returned
with proof of the due service thereof on Elizabeth Roe,
Katy Roe, Alexander Roe, Johanna Hoyt, Gideon S. Hoyt
Mary A. Hoyt, Caroline P. Smith, Jerome H. Smith, Frank
W. Smith, Edward C. Hoyt and William H. Hoyt all legatees
under said Will but said Vail (who claimed to be a creditor}
