the sum of One hundred Dollars (100 each)
c I give and bequeath to Earsley Stevens
and Henrietta Curtis each the sum of
One Hundred Dollars, and I give to
Richard Gates, Mary W. Hall and Arabella
Stuart Kirby each the sum of Fifty
Dollars and I give to my nurse Nancy
Smith a like sum of Fifty Dollars, each
year she shall live after my death,
but the payment of said sum shall be
made by administrator with the
will annexed at times and in amounts
best suited to her needs and as he shall
determine.
d All the rest and residue of my property
and estate I direct to be divided into
four equal parts or propotions and :-
One part thereof (1/4) I give to the children
of Horace Ludington brother and Malinda
Patrick sister of my husband, and Mary
L. Redburn to be equally divided between
them per-capita, share and share a like
One part thereof (1/4) thereof, I give to the childrens
Hospital of the City of Washington DC and
the remaining two parts (2/4) I give to St
Marys on the Mountain School" of Swannee
Tenn or if that school is not legally in-
corporated so it can take then I give such
share to Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal
Church of that part of Tennessee, in trust
to use the same for the purpose of such
schools. But, and in case of any of
said personal legatees shall die before
me and before taking hereunder
his or her share shall lapse unless
