property select and set apart for said
Mae Patterson, hereinbefore mentioned, such
and so much thereof as in his judgment and
discretion he shall deem appropriate and suit-
able for her, not exceeding in value one fifth
thereof, which bequest, so selected, shall then
be delivered to by said executor; and in case
my said children shall fail to agree in the pre-
mises, the remainder of the personal property
mentioned in this paragraph shall be divided
by my son Charles H. Hudson, or in case of his
inability to do so, by daughter aforesaid, into
four lots as nearly equal in kind - and value
as may be in his or her judgment, and the
ownership of each such lots under this will
shall then be determined by lot.
Fifteenth:- I give and devise unto my son
Charles H. Hudson my house and lot con-
veyed to me by Alfred T. Rogers by his cer-
tain warranty deed recorded in the office of the
Register of Deeds for said Dane County in Volume
193 of Deeds on page 432, being the East Forty
(40) feet in width of the North Fifty-five (55) feet
of Lot number One (1) of block number seventeen
(17) of the University Addition to the City of Madison,
Dane County, Wisconsin, according to the recorded
plat thereof and known as No 1031 West Johnson
Street in said City. And I give and bequeath unto
him, said Charles H. Hudson, one undivided third
(1/3) part or portion of my interest in the said
stocks or shares of the corporation hereinbefore
mentioned in paragraph Thirteenth of this my
will; to have and to hold the said real estate
